Local Elk elected president of Florida lodges

The latest happenings around Celery City Lodge #542. The Florida State Association of the Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks of the World has elected a new President. Brother William Sands, the newly elected President, says he belongs to those who face the facts of change.

He was elected by the brothers at the 2012 session held in Lake Mary, Florida. He stands for honesty and he is eager to move forward to meet the change, as we see change, as an essential quality for growth.

Brother William Sands said he sought the office for the “good of the order.” He has a vision as a professional. He is committed; he is a businessman and will serve the members of the State Association to the best of his ability as the State President with the help of the members of the Association and local lodges. He is a well-known member of Elkdom.

Brother Sands has served as Exalted Ruler of Celery City Lodge #542 Sanford and is active in many departments of local, district, state and national Elkdom for many years. President William Sands says he is willing to serve-trust-dedicate. He asks for respect, understanding and commitment. He will work for success and accountability.
